CVE-2025-37915

Linux Linux, linux kernel

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net_sched: drr: Fix double list add in class with netem as child qdisc As described in Gerrard's report [1], there are use cases where a netem child qdisc will make the parent qdisc's enqueue callback reentrant. In the case of drr, there won't be a UAF, but the code will add the same classifier to the list twice, which will cause memory corruption. In addition to checking for qlen being zero, this patch checks whether the class was already added to the active_list (cl_is_active) before adding to the list to cover for the re...

CVE-2025-37913

Linux Linux, linux kernel, debian linux

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net_sched: qfq: Fix double list add in class with netem as child qdisc As described in Gerrard's report [1], there are use cases where a netem child qdisc will make the parent qdisc's enqueue callback reentrant. In the case of qfq, there won't be a UAF, but the code will add the same classifier to the list twice, which will cause memory corruption. This patch checks whether the class was already added to the agg->active list (cl_is_active) before doing the addition to cater for the reentrant case. [1] https://lore.kernel.or...

CVE-2025-37908

Linux Linux, linux kernel

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm, slab: clean up slab->obj_exts always When memory allocation profiling is disabled at runtime or due to an error, shutdown_mem_profiling() is called: slab->obj_exts which previously allocated remains. It won't be cleared by unaccount_slab() because of mem_alloc_profiling_enabled() not true. It's incorrect, slab->obj_exts should always be cleaned up in unaccount_slab() to avoid following error: [...]BUG: Bad page state in process... .. [...]page dumped because: page still charged to cgroup [andriy.shevchenko@linux.intel.c...

CVE-2025-37903

Linux Linux, linux kernel, debian linux

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Fix slab-use-after-free in hdcp The HDCP code in amdgpu_dm_hdcp.c copies pointers to amdgpu_dm_connector objects without incrementing the kref reference counts. When using a USB-C dock, and the dock is unplugged, the corresponding amdgpu_dm_connector objects are freed, creating dangling pointers in the HDCP code. When the dock is plugged back, the dangling pointers are dereferenced, resulting in a slab-use-after-free: [ 66.775837] BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in event_property_validate+0x42f/0x6c0 [amdgp...

CVE-2025-37899

Linux Linux, linux kernel

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: fix use-after-free in session logoff The sess->user object can currently be in use by another thread, for example if another connection has sent a session setup request to bind to the session being free'd. The handler for that connection could be in the smb2_sess_setup function which makes use of sess->user.

CVE-2025-4948

Red Hat Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Extended Lifecycle Support, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8

A flaw was found in the soup_multipart_new_from_message() function of the libsoup HTTP library, which is commonly used by GNOME and other applications to handle web communications. The issue occurs when the library processes specially crafted multipart messages. Due to improper validation, an internal calculation can go wrong, leading to an integer underflow. This can cause the program to access invalid memory and crash. As a result, any application or server using libsoup could be forced to exit unexpectedly, creating a denial-of-service (DoS) risk.

CVE-2025-37891

Linux Linux, linux kernel

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: ump: Fix buffer overflow at UMP SysEx message conversion The conversion function from MIDI 1.0 to UMP packet contains an internal buffer to keep the incoming MIDI bytes, and its size is 4, as it was supposed to be the max size for a MIDI1 UMP packet data. However, the implementation overlooked that SysEx is handled in a different format, and it can be up to 6 bytes, as found in do_convert_to_ump(). It leads eventually to a buffer overflow, and may corrupt the memory when a longer SysEx message is received. The fix is...

CVE-2025-4211

Qt

Improper Link Resolution Before File Access ('Link Following') vulnerability in QFileSystemEngine in the Qt corelib module on Windows which potentially allows Symlink Attacks and the use of Malicious Files. Issue originates from CVE-2024-38081. The vulnerability arises from the use of the GetTempPath API, which can be exploited by attackers to manipulate temporary file paths, potentially leading to unauthorized access and privilege escalation. The affected public API in the Qt Framework is QDir::tempPath() and anything that uses it, such as QStandardPaths with TempLocation, QTemporaryDir, a...

CVE-2025-37890

Linux Linux, linux kernel, debian linux

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net_sched: hfsc: Fix a UAF vulnerability in class with netem as child qdisc As described in Gerrard's report [1], we have a UAF case when an hfsc class has a netem child qdisc. The crux of the issue is that hfsc is assuming that checking for cl->qdisc->q.qlen == 0 guarantees that it hasn't inserted the class in the vttree or eltree (which is not true for the netem duplicate case). This patch checks the n_active class variable to make sure that the code won't insert the class in the vttree or eltree twice, catering for the r...
